ACCOMMODATION

The cottage has a large kitchen living room. The working end has all the appliances you would expect including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. In the middle of the room is a large round light oak dining table and at the other end a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove, Freesat television, DVD player and a hi-fi system.

For truly cosy evenings there is a lovely sitting room with an open fire, comfortable chairs, and a television with DVD/video player and another hi-fi system. On cold days the underfloor heating makes the slate tiles feel wonderful under your feet. The garage is well stocked with wood which you are welcome to use. All the rooms have easy access to the garden and are light and airy by day but cosy and snug in the evening.

Next to the hallway, where coats and boots can be stored, there is a twin bedded room and a separate shower room with a large shower cubicle (and a good powerful shower), toilet and basin. Although the cottage has not been specially adapted for disabled use the ground floor bedroom and shower room does make it very suitable for guests who have difficulty with stairs. Access to the house is usually from the door to the side of the property which only involves a very small step.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with lovely views over the surrounding hills. Two bedrooms have double beds and the other is a twin bedroom. All the beds in the house are of a high quality. There is a very large bath for a luxurious soak.

Outside there is a large enclosed garden. There is plenty of grass for games and lots of space for sitting and eating out with good outside lighting. There is a large parking area to the side of the house with space for at least three cars.

A small part of the garden does contain retaining walls with about a 1m unprotected drop. Although we welcome toddlers parents should be aware of this hazard. There is still plenty of other space in which play can take place.

The views from  the garden are glorious and the nearby stream can be heard tumbling over rocks across the adjacent field. In winter there is great fun to be had sledging in the nearby fields while on a sunny day in summer the garden is simply a gorgeous place to while away the time.
